About Us
Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care in Gretna, Nebraska is the area's premier childcare facility serving all of Gretna, Springfield, Ashland, Omaha and surrounding areas since 2005. Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care is family owned and operated with the same owner for 15+ years. We offer child care services for ages 6 weeks to 13 years. We also offer an onsite preschool with an after school program. Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care provides an environment and the opportunity for the physical, social, and mental development of children. The center and curriculum are designed to stimulate growth through a balance of guided and self-directed activities. Each child is given the opportunity for individual development and exploration through an environment that is creative, stimulating and nurturing. I love this daycare!! We brought my daughter here when she was 2 years old and now she is going into kindergarten… we are sad we won’t be there anymore after the summer but we will deff swing in and see everyone once in a while!! We love chelia and are so grateful for her nurturing daycare!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I had another child!! Highly recommend this childcare place and it’s very fair priced!

Love to learn has been an amazing fit for our children. Being a smaller center, honestly makes it feel like a family in the sense each staff member there knows every kid and their parents. The owner is amazing, she truly cares for all the kids and it shows. I never have to worry about leaving them there, knowing how each member of the staff is with the kids. Hands down the best choice in town for daycare.

Hands down the best daycare around. It is the perfect size for individual attention. My child knows everyone there and greets them like they are all friends. It’s so heartwarming to see. The owner is incredibly educated and truly loves these children. I feel so lucky and blessed to have my daughter attend this center. I always know she is safe and well cared for. This is the only place in Gretna or West Omaha that I will refer anyone to.
